IT'S A ZOO!

IT'S A ZOO is a licensed petting zoo located in the heart of Saskatchewan. Our reason for operating the zoo is simple: WE LOVE ANIMALS!! We also enjoy sharing our animals and our knowledge of them with the public.  Every year we have school groups tour the zoo. We love to educate the children about animals. We hope to instill a respect for animals and their habitat in visitors to the zoo.

We work very closely with our local Conservation Officers . We serve as wildlife rehabilitators for orphaned and injured animals. We have successfully raised and rehabilitated orphaned or injured: Hawks, Great Horned Owls, a Snowy Owl, Canada Geese, Wild Ducks, Jack Rabbits, Raccoons, Buffalo, White Tail Deer, a Moose, Porcupine, Skunk, Red Fox,  Squirrels & Gophers.

We spend tons of time with our animals and it shows! Our greatest joy is watching different species interact as you can see below:
